Impacto SH was born during the 2020 sad tumbado wave, when 18-year-old Andrew Castro started making music with nothing more than a guitar, a home studio, and a pen. What began as a love for writing and experimenting with that sound continued to evolve through the years. With new influences, experience, and the addition of its core members, Impacto SH developed a sound shaped by each member and everything the group has picked up along the way.
Since then, Impacto SH has built a catalog reaching over 480,000 streams on Spotify, including more than 216,000 plays on their collaboration “Estrella Fugaz.” The group has also become a trusted choice for live entertainment, regularly performing for social media influencers and private events while headlining various clubs and venues. Through both original music and live covers, Impacto SH has built its name by bringing the same energy to the stage that they put into their records.
Now, Impacto SH is focused on creating what they see as the next sound of norteño—taking pieces of the different styles they’ve explored throughout the years and blending them with the music they grew up around. The goal isn’t to leave their old sound behind, but to evolve it into something that feels new and unmistakably theirs. As the music continues to grow, so does the focus on becoming a stronger live act and building a stage presence capable of taking Impacto SH to bigger audiences and bigger stages.
